In a proactive move towards combating drug abuse among youth, the Malankara Social Service Society (MSSS) organized an enlightening awareness class at Sre Saraswathy Vidyalayam, Ooruttambalam, as part of ongoing Sajeevam anti-drug campaign. The session, held on March 1st, 2024, witnessed active participation from nearly 30 students.
Task force members from MSSS led the informative session, focusing on the detrimental effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a drug-free life. Through interactive discussions and engaging activities, students were educated on the various risks associated with substance abuse and the significance of making informed choices to safeguard their well-being.
The initiative aimed not only to raise awareness but also to empower the youth with knowledge and skills to resist peer pressure and make positive life choices. MSSS emphasized the role of education and community support in addressing the pervasive issue of drug addiction, highlighting the need for collective efforts to create a healthier and safer environment for all.
