Exposure Visit

 

On 08th March 2024, 1st Year MSW students embarked on an exposure visit to Malankara Social Service Society (MSSS), Pattom, Trivandrum. The visit was facilitated to broaden the students' understanding of social service practices and initiatives. Fr. Varghese Kizhakkekkara, the Executive Director of MSSS, graciously welcomed the students and provided a comprehensive overview of the organization's ongoing projects and initiatives. Fr. Varghese Kizhakkekkara's presentation covered various aspects, including 

Introduction to MSSS: Fr. Varghese Kizhakkekkara introduced MSSS, providing its background, mission, and vision. He emphasized the organization's commitment to serving the community and promoting social welfare. 

Ongoing Projects: The Executive Director elaborated on the diverse range of projects undertaken by MSSS. These projects encompassed areas such as education, healthcare, livelihood support, women empowerment, and environmental sustainability. Fr. Varghese Kizhakkekkara highlighted the impact of these projects on the lives of beneficiaries and the communities served. 

Challenges and Opportunities: The Executive Director also addressed the challenges faced by MSSS in its endeavors, including resource constraints, socio-economic disparities, and administrative hurdles.
