Sense International India National Training program at Calicut






 Sense International India conducted a National Training program at Calicut from 12th to 14th February 2024, aimed at capacity building among its partner organizations and stakeholders. The training targeted a diverse range of professionals including special educators, caregivers, Persons with Disabilities/Multiple Disabilities (PwDb/MD), para-medical professionals, mentors, coordinators, and heads of organizations. The primary objective was to ensure the continuous development of sustainable and quality services for PwDb/MD across the nation. The national training program was meticulously organized, covering a wide range of topics pertinent to the field of disability services. Led by experts in the field, the sessions were designed to be informative, interactive, and thought-provoking. Representatives from various organizations participated in the training program. The delegation from MSSS included: Rev. Fr. Varghese Kizhakkekara (The Executive Director, MSSS), Arjun P George (Project Coordinator), Ms. Jayachita (Special Educator), Mrs. Sreelatha (Caretaker)

  1. The Sense International India National Training at Calicut proved to be a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and active participation of all stakeholders involved. The training not only enhanced the skills and knowledge of attendees but also inspired them to initiate positive changes in their respective organizations. Moving forward, it is imperative to continue organizing such capacity-building initiatives to ensure the ongoing improvement and sustainability of services for Persons with Disabilities/Multiple Disabilities nationwide.
